Marathon routes in Australia

Sydney is the newest member of the Abbott World Marathon Majors, joining in 2025 as the seventh race and taking the series to four continents. It runs in the southern hemisphere's late winter and early spring: the course starts in North Sydney, crosses the Harbour Bridge and finishes at the Opera House.
